Implicit biases are the subconscious acts that unintentionally guide our behavior and decisions. Everyone has implicit biases – even well-intentioned people and those who purposely strive for impartiality. This presentation examines how implicit biases affect our attitudes and actions towards other individuals because of their race, ethnicity, age, or gender, how implicit bias impacts neutrality and decision-making, and the techniques you can learn to debias.
